About Debbie

I have been a Puppy School tutor in Cheshire since 2013 and I am also a registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour Training Council (ABTC).

It was my first puppy, Amber, that sparked my passion for dogs and encouraged my journey towards becoming a Puppy School tutor. Amber attended Puppy School classes when young, and it was experiencing this course first hand that made me realise how hugely beneficial it is for young puppies to get the correct start in life. Adequate socialisation, habituation and basic training ensures puppies grow up to be happy and confident adult dogs. Reward based learning helps build a lifelong relationship with your new family member and I am passionate about helping you to achieve your own success in owning a wonderful well-balanced dog.

What Clients say
about Puppy School

  • “From the very first session, I noticed a significant improvement in Seb's behaviour and structure. Debbie is so knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about helping both puppies and their owners succeed. She provided a variety of fun and engaging exercises that were easy to follow and tailored to each dog differently if required. The classes have not only strengthened our bond with Seb but have also given us the tools to address any challenges that arise. I highly recommend these classes and will be booking onto the next classes for scent work.”

  • “All the classes were taught in a really clear and easy to understand way, and the demonstrations were brilliant. Debbie was able to answer any training questions or queries we weren't sure on or were struggling with to help us succeed. I would highly recommend Puppy School to anyone welcoming a new puppy into their homes. Even if you're aware of basic training principles, there is always more to learn and your puppy can get used to other dogs and people in a safe environment.”
    —   Karen
  • “Debbie and her assistant were so approachable right from the start. Having been to other puppy groups, I can honestly say this was amazing. No pressure or feeling like your puppy is misbehaving. The group was fantastic and everyone could have a laugh. Due to this, the atmosphere was relaxed and all of the puppies responded well to training. Loved it all, we didn't want the classes to end.”
